Ok couple of things. First is that we will be down for about
24 hours due to a server move. Hope this will not take longer.
We are also upgrading the OSC software. Please forgive the construction.
Secondly is that we will be at Cold Wars from 3/10-14/10. Any
orders placed during the convention will be filled asap after
we return.

Merry Christmas!!! As you may have heard a rather large storm
has been hitting the east coast. At this moment the BVT World
HQ is snowed in under 12 inches of snow. That coupled with Christmas
will make orders placed in the next few days take a while longer
than normal to ship out. Thanks in advance.

We had a great Fall In! Thanks to those who ordered for all
your patience. We also have added Litko aerosystems to our line
of manufacturers. As always "go fish" requests and
order for new items not in stock are welcome.

It's vacation time! I get to ride around the country with my
family for 2 weeks. Heading to parts west...Wisconsin, Colorado
and Tulsa. Meanwhile Chuck will be around to ship all of the
orders. However there may be some delays as he does have a full
time job. Once I get back we have a bit over a week before Historicon.
So please be patient with us during all the travel.

Happy belated new year. I will try to keep a better update
for the site this year. So on to the news. We are still playing
catch up with our back stock. IWM has an article on their site
about the B5 minis only being around until June due to licensing
snafus. So in this economy we are putting that expansion on
hold. We can do special orders for them if needed. Recently
we lost our distributor, Blackhawk. They went out of business.
We have picked up 2 new ones, ACD and Warpath. So if you need
anything that isn't on the site please let us know, we can probably
get it. We will be at the new con, Williamsburg Muster, in Williamsburg,
VA Feb 7-9. Orders placed then will ship when we get back. That's
all for now.

We will be at the Fall In! convention for the next few days
(Nov 6-9) so any orders we receive will be shipped the following
week. Hope to see you there. Bonus news: IWM has picked up the
miniatures for Babylon 5 from Mongoose and we will be carrying
them. I hope to have more info this weekend on what will be
available now and what is being remastered.

Ok, summer is over. I will attempt to update the news page
a bit more often. Since the kids are in school I hope to have
all of the back stock and new additions put up soon. This week
will see another BT mini update and alot of the old BT sourcebooks.
After that will come some fantasy minis from IWM and Dark Sword.

Well, it's convention time again! Cold Wars runs from March
6- 9. All orders placed during this time will be processed on

The site search problem has been fixed. We have added a new
vendor, Gale Force 9. They produce templates, bases and terrain
for a variety of games (B5, SST, Pirates, FoW to list a few).
We hope to get caught up over the holidays on entering stock
onto the system. As always we have a backlog. So if you don't
see an item you need just email us.

Ok we are experincing technical difficulties with the site.
Due to the recent server move the search via manufacturer function
and a few other items no longer work. I had hoped to have it
working tonight but that is not going to happen. I hope to be
back strong by Monday. If you have any questions or want to
order an item but can't find it on the site please email us.

Just to let you know, we will be in the dealer hall at Historicon
this year!! Woohoo!! So orders placed during the week of July
23rd will be processed after our triumphant return from the
con. Historicon runs from Thursday, July 26th to Sunday July

Ok, I need to address some shipping stuff due to the crazy
new USPS changes to international shipping. Firstly there is
no surface shipping, it is all done via air now. The USPS has
made several new categories for shipping. Secondly packaging
rules and the pricing for them have changed. This means our
standard methods are not working anymore (new rate example:
using international priority mail, taking 6-10 day delivery
for an avg size package of 1-2 pounds is costing $20+). Because
our shopping cart does not differentiate between domestic and
international shipping, we need all of our international customers
to email us prior to paying (you can save the order by checking
the check/money order payment method). This is so we can determine
the best way to ship the minis. The cheapest way to ship international
may not be the best since there is no tracking on the packages
and the delivery time is listed as "varies".
The following link will allow you to calculate the postage rates
and check out the new rules from the links on the page. For
weight estimates use 5 oz per mini and roughly 2 oz for packaging/box.

Well, Cold Wars was interesting with the snow. We did pretty
good but attendance was down so we didn't sell as much as I'd
hoped. We hit Ravencon which is in Richmond. That was a hoot.
Did way better there than expected. On the downside we are having
problems with Paypal. Our account is being frozen and I know
exactly where the problem lies but cannot get a rep from account
appeals to talk to me. So for awhile BVT will have to use my
personal account. Everyone please email if you have any questions
or concerns.

We are working hard to bring some of our planned expansion
plans to fruition. We do our first test at Cold Wars 07 this
week. If you are attending we are booth 24 in the dealer hall,
so stop by and see us. So if you place an order on the 15th
- 18th we will ship asap after we return home.

There is an error in the "contact us" button in the
information section of the store front. If you use this to contcact
us it goes through all the motions and then sends the email
somewhere. I am at a loss as to where it goes but it doesn't
got our aol account or our server. So if you want to contact

Well December was extremely busy. Dave Welling has left us
for personal reasons. So it is down to Chuck and I. On top of
that I had the flu along with the entire Varney clan. So for
most of December the house was sick. Not really conducive to
working on the site. In the mean time we have had some used
BT mini updates and changes in our expansion plans. I won't
say much because the last time I put something down it never
happened. We can say that we are going into historicals (WW2
15mm), starship combat games and possibly some 28mm figures
(scifi and fantasy). As always we can take requests for items
not on the site. If we can get the item then you don't pay until
we get said item in and ready to ship out to you. That's all
